| “Building the Future – Partner in Change” was the theme of the recently concluded Educational Facility Managers Association (EFMA) BC. This conference and trade show was held at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre last June 4-7, 2013.
EFMA’s mission is to provide support and recognition to their members who work in partnership with leaders in education in the Province of British Columbia. This event was attended by approximately 145 delegates and 114 exhibitors. And although HVAC Systems and Maxair products are already widely used in schools around British Columbia, this was a chance for our companies to showcase its latest services, tools and technology and show its support for the education industry. MAXAIR Unit Ventilators are specifically designed for applications where low sound levels are required. Maxair products are engineered with high quality, ease of serviceability, low overall installation cost and students and teachers in mind. HVAC Systems & Solutions Ltd. has been providing innovative and custom solutions to the HVAC industry since 1999 and is the official representative of Maxair. During this event, we had several demo units for viewing: Active Chilled Beams, FANWALL Technology and several energy recovery equipment.
2 golf putters were raffled off and the lucky winners were from School Districts #33 and #48. On the last night, a fun Star Wars themed gathering was held and the HVAC Systems and Maxair employees really got into their characters (see picture below).
